The Garrett College Foundation annually presents scholarships to Garrett College students. In the weeks to come the names of those receiving these awards will be published. Following are the names of scholarship recipients for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Courtney Burdock


Courtney Burdock, a current student and resident of Frostburg, has been awarded the Dr. Bruce Jenkins Memorial Fund Scholarship. She is pursuing her associate of arts in teaching degree in elementary education/special education.

Blaine Johnson



Blaine Johnson, a resident of Baltimore and current student, has received the Amy Mildred Sharpless Scholarship. He is pursuing his associate in applied science degree in business and information technology: business management.

Jacob Cannon


Jacob Cannon, a 2015 graduate of Southern High School who lives in Oakland, has been awarded the Oakland/Mt. Lake Park Lions Club: Ravenscroft Memorial Scholarship to pursue his studies in business administration.

Angie Cooper



Angie Cooper, a current student and resident of Straudsburg, Pa., has been received a Garrett College Foundation Grant. She is pursuing her studies in nursing.

 Lane Maust



Lane Maust, a resident of Meyersdale, Pa. and a 2015 graduate of Salisbury Elk Lick High School, has been awarded the Total Biz Fulfillment, Inc.: Ruddell Family Scholarship. He is pursuing his associate in applied science degree in adventure sports.

 

 Megan Stone



Megan Stone, a current student who resides in Oakland, has received the Ann Dilgard Scholarship. She is pursuing her associate in arts degree in teacher education: secondary education.
