Workforce Development Open House Slated for August 9

Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development will be hosting an Open House at the Career Technology Training Center (CTTC) in Accident.  The event will be held on Wednesday, August 9 from 5:30-7:30p.m.

This event is a prime opportunity to share and discuss information on the workforce development programs offered this fall. Tours of the facility to highlight the classrooms and training spaces will be offered for those in attendance. At that time, potential students will be able to ask any questions and begin the enrollment process for the fall session.

The following programs are slated to begin this fall: adult basic education, CDL class a and b truck driving, certified apartment maintenance technician, certified clinical medical assistant, certified medical administrative assistant, certified nursing assistant, hospitality and tourism, machining, medical coding and billing, phlebotomy, school bus driver training, welding, and veterinary assistant.
