Students who complete an Associate's Degree are more likely to experience maximum credit transferability. Graduates also have special opportunities to earn scholarships and deep discounts at four-year institutions, such as Frostburg State University, West Virginia University, and Bucknell University. The Garrett College Transfer Timeline will help you distinguish which transfer-related activities you should be involved with each semester, beginning with your first. The Advising & Academic Success Center also publishes a Transfer Guide Booklet, which guides students from major selection through successful transfer. Stop by room 519 for printed copies of either of these resources.

Each fall and spring, Garrett College hosts an annual Transfer Fair, an event that attracts 30+ four-year institutions to campus to speak with students about post-graduation transfer options. This is an excellent opportunity to explore regional colleges and universities in pursuit of your transfer destination. The spring 2021 Transfer Fair will take place virtually.
